It's not as crazy as most of his schemes.

Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio, best known for antics like requiring inmates to wear pink socks and underwear, recently announced that veteran inmates would be housed together in a separate unit of his jail and receive special programming aimed at dealing with symptoms of post traumatic stress disorder. Arizona follows places like San Francisco, Georgia and Los Angeles in implementing similar programs.
