In August, a young developer approached a homeless man with an offer: take $100 on the spot, or learn how to code. Leo Grand chose the latter and has now launched his first project: an app called Trees for Cars that aims to help people share rides and protect the environment. Money earned from the app will go toward further educating Grand.
